Rates

Initial session: 75–90 minutes

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first visit if you have not filled out your forms ahead of time 
  • $150 (without insurance/discounted out of pocket due at the time of service). 

Follow-up sessions: 1 hour

  • $105 (without insurance/discounted out of pocket due at the time of service). 
  • 20% discount for seniors and students with ID

Cancellation Policy

Rain City Acupuncture requires a 24-hour notice for any cancellation. No shows and appointments cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged a $100 fee for the visit. Thank you for respecting our time and that of the other patients. 

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we are in-network with the following health insurance companies. Please know your insurance benefits regarding acupuncture coverage prior to your first appointment.  Fill out the insurance verification form before your first appointment so you are aware of your coverage. Claims are not  guaranteed covered until they process.  Any unpaid balance by the insurance company will be the responsibility of the patient.

And many smaller carriers, please call if you do not see your carrier listed.

If you have a different health insurance plan, we are happy treat you as out-of-network and provide you with a super-bill (glorified receipt with insurance codes) to submit to your carrier for reimbursement. Many plans have some amount of out of network coverage.

 

*Please note: As Acupuncturist in Washington, we cannot bill Medicare. That includes Medicare Bridge plans. Please see article 1861 (r) and 1862 (a) https://www.medicare.gov/coverage/acupuncture

There are some Medicare Advantage Plans that may cover Acupuncture, please check with your plan. 

PIP (Personal Injury Protection) claims

Yes, we do accept PIP claims. We do not bill third-party claims. Please provide the following information before your first appointment:

  • Date of Accident
  • Claim number
  • Insurance Claims Adjuster’s contact information
  • Attorney’s contact information, if applicable

*Please note cosmetic acupuncture, house calls and hospital visits may not be covered.
